Support your Trail

With 230km of trail across 10 municipalities, we have lots of ground to cover to keep our trail in good working order.  There are several ways you can help:

  1. Buy a Trail Pass
Trail Passes is the only reliable funding source Park to Park can access.  Your trail pass dollars go directly back into the trails.  While a trail pass can seem like a big investment, it makes it possible for us to keep our trails open and in good repair. For the cost of one motorized trail pass you could, instead of having 8 months of trail riding, have 1 night in a hotel or dinner and show for two in Parry Sound, or one grande latte a week for the whole of trail riding season.
  2. Donate Your Time
We have lots of trail and can’t always get our wheels and feet on all of it, never mind shovels and saws.  By volunteering your time by checking your local trail section and sending in regular reports to Peter at our office, you are helping us to prioritize our limited dollars and and hours. If you have experience in trail building, construction or maintenance, or want to learn about these areas, contact Peter at the office to find out how you can help us on the ground.
  3. Donate Your Money
As a registered Not-For-Profit Charitable entity with Revenue Canada we don’t make money managing trails, and often we are squeaking.  One big way you can support Park to Park is to donate cash.  As a charitable entity we are able to write you a tax receipt for a good break on your next year’s taxes.  By giving cash directly we are able to allocate it as needed and make the tough decisions that keep the organization running and the trails open. 4. Advocate For Trails
Many of our trails aren’t under the direct control of the Park to Park Trail Association, but are managed by local municipalities.  By supporting local trails and advocating with your local governments to increase their support for Park to Park and all trails will help improve access to these fantastic local resources.
