Summer is here so please remember that we have users of all shapes and sizes on the trails, from nesting turtles and other wildlife, through families on foot and bike up through motorized users on ATVs, UTVs and dirt bikes, and don’t forget about our horseback riders.
Please respect all users.
If you are walking or cycling please listen for motorized users and walk on the right-hand side of the trail. If you are on a motorized vehicle, please respect the speed limit (50 km/h and lower in higher traffic area) and be aware that cycling, horseback riding and walking is permitted on all of our trails, and be mindful of blind corners.
After 10 long years, the Park to Park Adventure Trails are done, and to celebrate the completion of the final section, the Park to Park Trail Association will be hosting a trail opening on June 22nd.
Joined by representatives from Carling Township, the Provincial and Federal governments, we will be opening the Muskiig Trail and dedicating the monument to former Park to Park Board Member, and Carling Township Councillor Hans Muysson.
Please join us at Wood’s Road Trailhead of the Muskiig Trail to participate in this momentous occasion.
Time to haul that ATV or UTV out of storage, the Park to Park Adventure Trails are open to all users.
